TOWNSHIP OF VERONA PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT

PURPOSE: The Township of Verona is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Everett Field located at 300 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ 07044 (nearest intersection: Westview Rd and Bloomfield Ave).

PROJECT SCOPE: The Township of Verona proposes to create the following new facilities at Everett Park: new, completely inclusive playground. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment can be found at: https://www.veronanj.org/news/post/18552/

PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in Verona Town Hall, located at 600 Bloomfield Avenue, as part of the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting.
