Verona Pickleball Tournament: September 27th 2025

Following the success and enthusiasm from Verona's first pickleball tournament, we are pleased to once again unite pickleball players for some fun and competition. Grab your paddles and get ready for a smashing good time.

Date: Saturday, September 27th (rain date/Sunday, Sept. 28th)

Location: Verona Community Pool Pickleball Courts (257 Fairview Ave)

Intermediate Bracket:
8:30am Sign-in
9:00am Tournament Start

Tournament Details

Open Doubles brackets at two skill levels:

• Open Doubles - Intermediate (can sustain medium-length rallies; has an understanding of positioning and rules; makes some unforced errors but can hit forehand and backhand with moderate consistency)
• Open Doubles - Advanced (consistent groundstrokes and serves; can control the ball direction and attempt strategic placement (e.g., dinks, drop shots); quick reflexes at the net and solid footwork)

Teams should register as a team of two, in any combination---two men, two women, or mixed

Each team to receive ample court time

Prizes and recognitions will be awarded
