Where should Verona's new Civic Center Tree be planted?

Verona's beloved Civic Center tree has reached the end of its life cycle. In preparation for this, Verona's Administration has collaborated with the Shade Tree Commission and landscape architects from Strans Engineering to evaluate and plan for its replacement. Recognizing the significance of this decision for our community, we invite you to share your preference regarding potential replacement locations.

Option #1: Center of Civic Center Plaza
Central location in the town’s Civic Center. Perfect visual balance allowing the monument to be visible from Bloomfield Avenue. Better perspective with a lawn panel fronting Bloomfield Ave. Encourages visitors to walk into the park.

Option #2: Monument Mini Park
More private and intimate setting. Reduces crowding in the main area. Perfect for smaller gatherings and quiet enjoyment.

Option #3: Front of Existing Tree
Maintain existing civic tree location allowing for event flow while adding extra open space. Keeps the tree more visible from the main road.
