Verona is a wonderful place to raise a family, start or relocate a business and enjoy life in general. Verona has 4 elementary schools, a middle school and high school, a free public library, a community center and recreation complex, a municipal pool, several athletic fields, and is home to Verona Park, which is considered one of the best parks in the Essex County Park System. Occupying an area of just under 3 square miles, Verona is one of the “25 Great Towns” in the Garden State as rated by NJ Monthly Magazine.
This would not be possible without the many residents who care about their neighbors, have a strong sense of community and volunteer their time to improve our quality of life.
If you are interested in joining the hundreds of volunteers who help make Verona the best we can be, please browse through the links above to find information about the volunteer positions that are available in town.
