Payments for vacancy decontrol applications and tenancy change applications can be made on-line by accessing a safe and secure direct payment option here. This new process will streamline your applications and avoid having to mail a paper copy via the U.S.P.S. You must also submit your completed application via email kgould@veronanj.org. You can find a link to the applications above.
Coming in June 2026, online payments for annual rent roll statements will also be available.
NJ's Lead Safe Law states that certain rental properties are required to have a visual inspection to assess for lead hazards by July 22, 2025. This is also listed in Verona's Code as well.
To help landlords streamline the process, Verona has partnered with LEW Environmental Service who offers free consultations with their lead paint experts to help prepare for inspections.
