H1N1 Flu Vaccine
Walgreen’s on Claremont Avenue has a limited number of injectable flu vaccines which they are offering to persons 18 and over but under 64 years of age and also pregnant women and persons with health conditions. Supplies are limited and there is an administration charge of $18.00. Walgreen’s is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and daily hours or other information may be obtained by calling Walgreen’s at 973-559-0901.

H1N1 Injectable Vaccine Clinics Scheduled for Select Priority Groups

You must register online using the button above or through www.montclairnjusa.org.
The Montclair Health Department will continue offering injectable H1N1 vaccine to the priority groups identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the next few weeks. Four clinics have been planned for the following priority groups:
Children aged 6 months – 48 months and those 4 years to 24 years.

Clinics details are as follows:
Ages 4 years – 24 years

Thursday, December 10th, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Montclair Municipal Building
205 Claremont Ave * Montclair
Ages 4 years – 24 years

Friday, December 11th, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Nutley Parks and Recreation Building
44 Park Avenue * Nutley
Ages 4 years – 24 years

Thursday, December 17th from 3-7:00 p.m.
Verona Community Center

H1N1 Small Children
While supplies last H1N1 vaccine for children 6mos to 36 mos. is available through Dr. Grobstein who located on Fairfield St., Montclair (Near Watchung). For an appointment the number to call is 973-744-8511.

Recycling Center
The Recycling Center is open Wednesdays & Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Residents can bring Bottles and Cans, Corrugated Cardboard, white office & computer paper, mixed paper, Telephone books, brown paper grocery bags, batteries and motor oil.

Effective January 1, 2009 Electronic Equipment will no longer be placed at the curb for pick up.  Electronic equipment may be brought to the recycling center on Commerce Court for recycling and disposal. This includes, monitors, computers, TVs, etc.

Online Registration For Recreation Programs Now Available
The following programs will be available for registration at this date; All soccer programs, Flag Football, Cross Country, Karate, Adult Round Robin Tennis, and Men’s Softball. Any questions contact Recreation office 973-857-4830 or email recreation@veronanj.org.  Here is the link
