Memorial Day Parade
The Verona Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday May 28,
2012 beginning at 10:00 AM from Everett Field. A ceremony will be
held immediately following the parade in the Verona Civic Center.
The Township will again honor our veterans with the Verona
distinguished service medal. Anyone who has not received a
medal may obtain an application at town hall or contact sue Neale at
(973) 857-4767.
Eighteenth Annual Verona Mayor’s Charity Evening
This years Mayor’s Charity Evening will continue the tradition of
saluting those Verona citizens, organizations and businesses who
have contributed to the growth, vitality and well-being of our
community.
The 2012 honorees are Michele DeWitt, Michele Kiernan, Dante
Mercurio, Richard Williamson, Frank Anthony’s Restaurant-Catering,
MyVeronaNJ and the Verona 9/11 Committee.
