Due to the resignation of Councilwoman Holland, effective immediately, a vacancy now exists on the Township Council.
Pursuant to New Jersey's Municipal Vacancy Law, the Township Council has 30 days to fill the vacant seat by appointment. The individual appointed will serve until the certification of the results from the November 3, 2026 General Election where that vacant seat will be filled for the remainder of the term.
Interested residents must meet the following qualifications:
Qualified individuals wishing to be considered for appointment must submit a Letter of Intent along with any other documents such as a resume, to the Municipal Clerk no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

All applicants are required to attend the Township Council meeting on June 22, 2026, at which time interviews will be conducted by the Council during the public session.
