Congratulations to Verona's re-elected council members: Cynthia Holland, Jack McEvoy and Christopher Tamburro.

Congratulations to Verona's three re-elected council members: Cynthia Holland, Jack McEvoy and Christopher Tamburro. Their re-election in our 2025 non-partisan municipal election reflects the trust and confidence our community has in their leadership and vision for Verona. Each council re-elect will serve a four-year term extending their service to Verona until December 31, 2029.

Verona’s Township Council as a whole, which also includes Councilwoman Christine McGrath and Councilman Alex Roman, has demonstrated a commitment to addressing Verona's critical needs, preserving Verona’s unique charm and fostering an inclusive community atmosphere. Some of the tangible projects that demonstrate this include:

  • New inclusive and ADA friendly playground at Verona Community Center
  • Exploring traffic calming options via Complete Streets and Safe Streets for All programming
  • Bringing Verona’s drinking water systems back into operation
  • Analyzing stormwater management
  • Enhancing funding for tree care & maintenance
  • Restoration and preservation of Everett Field
  • Adding new pickleball courts
  • Supporting Verona’s Bloomfield Ave Corridor improvements
  • Investing in Verona’s municipal buildings and infrastructure

Their foresight in planning for Verona's future has laid a strong foundation for sustainable growth and development. We look forward to continued progress that Verona's Township Council champions for.
