Verona Welcomes Pam Priscoe as Director of Community Services

Introducing Verona’s New Community Services Director: Pam Priscoe

Join us in welcoming Pam Priscoe as Verona’s new Director of Community Services. Although this is a new position for Pam, Verona has been an integral part of her life for more than 43 years. Pam's impact on Verona is highlighted by her professional achievements and personal connections, as she is a resident of Verona, a graduate of VHS. She has also enjoyed a long-standing career with the Township, most notably serving as the Assistant Tax Assessor since 2004.

Her leadership experience is further enriched by her significant tenure as the Acting President on Verona’s Board of Education which has prepared Pam to a lead diverse but unified community program. “I have learned how to bring people together to make decisions that balance the needs of students, parents, staff and taxpayers.” says Pam “building trust and communicating openly is a skill I carry with me into my new position”.

Pam’s transition into Community Services is fueled by a passion for making a visible impact to her beloved Verona community. As the new Community Services Director Pam will be overseeing Facility and Field Rentals, Health Services, Pet Services, Senior Programming and Services, Vital Statistics, Recreational programing and the Verona Community Pool. Some of the initial initiatives on Pam's agenda include addressing programs like Basketball and the Rec Camps with the goal of enhancing efficiency, improving communication, and foster community engagement.

Enthusiastic about collaboration, Pam is eager to work with her dedicated team which includes Mary Farrell Supervisor of Health & Vital Statistics, Michael McMahon, Supervisor of Recreation, and Leslie Sullivan, Deputy Registrar. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, Pam is optimistic about the department's future, stating, “We form an exceptional team, and I am thrilled about the department's prospects.”
