This morning Verona honored the heroes and remembered the lives lost on 9/1. Never forget. Always in our hearts. A special thank you goes to Mayor Tamburro and Deputy Mayor for their heartfelt remarks and to Councilwoman Holland, Councilwoman McGrath and Assemblyman Al Barlas for their support, Erik Simon of the First Presbyterian Church for the opening prayer, the VHS Chamber Choir for their beautiful vocal performance and the Verona Fire Department, Verona Police Department, and Verona Rescue Squad for their assistance in lighting the candles.
