Coming Soon...New Traffic Pattern at Verona Community Center

Starting Monday June 16th, Verona, in collaboration with the Verona Police Department, will be initiating a traffic pattern modification at the Verona Community Center (880 Bloomfield Ave). This new traffic pattern initiative aims to enhance safety and improve traffic flow in response to the high volume of daily visitors which averages approximately 1,000 cars a day due to senior activities, playground use, municipal appointments, and recreational programs.

Verona’s Community Center parking lots are scheduled for repaving in the future, making now an ideal time to assess and refine potential new traffic patterns.

Key Changes and Benefits:

  • Enhance traffic flow by directing vehicles around the annex building
  • Reduce the number of cars navigating between the upper field parking lots
  • Lessen the amount of cut-through traffic on White Rock Road
  • Improve overall pedestrian and vehicle safety

The community will be invited to participate in the evaluation process with a survey as the study is underway. Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping the final plans. Stay tuned for updates at VeronaNJ.org.

Thank you for your cooperation and participating in making our community a safer and better place for all.
