The Township of Verona will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 19th to present and adopt its Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. Prepared in collaboration with DMR Architects, the plan reflects the Township’s lawful efforts to reduce and satisfy its affordable housing obligation over the next decade, providing a realistic opportunity for 82 affordable housing units while minimizing the overall impact on the community. 

The proposed strategy focuses potential development along Bloomfield Avenue, allowing Verona to take advantage of bonus credits and follow sound planning principles that help preserve established residential neighborhoods while promoting a vibrant town center. Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more, and provide feedback.
