Holiday Schedule
There will be no garbage collection on
Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, 2009.
Garbage will be collected on Tuesday, May 26th
for both the north & south side of Town.
Important Notice
Effective January 1, 2009 Electronic Equipment will no longer be
placed at the curb for pick up. Electronic equipment may be brought
to the recycling center on Commerce Court for recycling and
disposal. This includes, monitors, computers, TVs, etc.
Recycling Center
The Recycling Center is open Wednesdays & Saturdays from 8:30
a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Residents can bring Bottles and Cans,
Corrugated Cardboard, white office & computer paper, mixed paper,
Telephone books, brown paper grocery bags, batteries and motor oil.
Leaf Bags
Leaf Bags are sold Monday thru Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturdays from October 4 thru December 13 – 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm @
.30Cents ea.
Leaf Dump
Gardeners servicing Verona residents must secure a permit to dump at
the Township leaf dump. Permit is $25.00 per dump.
Broken Streetlights
Get the number of the light pole and then call PSE&G at 1-800-436-7734. This is an
automated response line that make reporting the broken light fast and easy.
Water Leaks
Report to the Public Works Department at the contact numbers at the top of this page. If
it is an emergency, night, or weekend, call the police department at non-emergency number
at 973-239-5000.
Potholes
Report potholes to the Public Works Department at the contact numbers at the top of this
page.
