Rabies Clinic
The Verona Health Department announces a free rabies clinic on Thursday, May 15 at the Town garage on Ozone Avenue. Animals should not be fed for several hours prior to the clinic.

Dogs will be seen from 6:00-6:45 pm and cats from 6:45-7:30pm. If you have any questions, please contact the Verona Health Department at 973-857-4800.

Verona Senior Citizens
Reverse Mortgage Information Meeting

The Verona Senior Citizens Department announces an informational meeting about reverse mortgages and how they might work for you on Wednesday, May 7 at noon in the VCC ballroom. Lunch will be provided during this short meeting. Pre-registration is necessary and can be made by calling the senior citizen department at 973-857-4832. This is not a sales meeting, there is no obligation and you will not be contacted by anyone following the meeting.

Services of the Town Clerk
January is dog licensing month. Proof of rabies vaccination is required. Neutered dogs are $8.20, un-neutered dogs are $11.20.

Cat licenses are issued in September. Proof of rabies vaccination is required. Neutered cats are $6.00, un-neutered cats are $8.00.

Voter registration forms are available and may be submitted at Clerk's office.

Licenses are required for raffles. Application forms are available and may be submitted at the Clerk's office. Since applications must go before the Council, be sure to allow enough time for processing.

The Essex County Clerk's office has an outreach program. They go to different municipalities throughout the County. They are in Verona once a month, the first Monday of the month. If that day is a holiday, that month will be skipped. The Essex County Clerk can be reached at www.essexclerk.com.
