Constructed in the late 18th century, the Enos Martin House still retains the exposed fireback on its end wall, a key feature in early-farmhouse architecture. The store-and-a-half frame house has been added on to through the years, but is still a classic example of the “East Jersey Cottage” form typical of Essex County colonial domestic architecture.
